Long day, long week, spent the evening with Scott at 'First Friday'. When I got home, I watched the end of 'Saturday Night and Sunday Morning'. I don't know why but Albert Finney's movies from this time period (especially this one, and 'Two for the Road' and 'Tom Jones') stir the most bittersweet nostalgia in me. I first saw 'Two for the Road' at its release with my brother. I first saw 'Tom Jones' in a movie house in Chapel Hill while visiting UNC as a prospect. I first saw 'Saturday Night..' a few years ago on the tube.
