year's end

..very satisfied with Christmas Eve. Solo music: Prelude & Fugue in D - BWV 532, Antalffy-Zsiross - 'Madonna', and as a request - Pachelbel Canon on piano. Scott came to the later service and followed me home. We sat and drank wine and talked for 3 hours.

Christmas Day - flew to Dallas. Christmas Dinner at St. Martin's with Israel & Mark & Joan. Then to Fort Worth with Israel and a quiet 2 days. Back to my routine on Saturday evening.

Back to DFW on New Year's Eve. Didn't drive up to Carrollton for The bear party.

New Year's Day - drove to Houston with Israel - a nice time relaxing in bookstores & museums. Found a terrific men's only used clothing store and bought a new suit. Coffee with Jay on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday - very nice to catch up with him. Went out on Saturday night and ran into people - it hadn't occurred to me I would see guys I knew. Among them: the always sexy Dutch who gave me enough of an ego boost to last all of 09, the always sweet Jorge, and the always mercurial Mike A.

'Slumdog Millionaire' on Sunday evening - it's great.
